The lime green repainted 40-year old warehouse was refurbished into seven floors of computer server space and one floor of people space. Contrasting with the industrially detailed machine space, the more “peopled” areas come with the more friendly materials and colours. The heart of the datacentre: the business longe, the engineers’ room, the control room and the conference room, wrap around each other as an “ivory ball”. The centre of the sprial is a huge timber meeting table. The warmest object for the pure people space.
